Ladies’ Day Out Supports Domestic Violence Survivors

On Tuesday, April 25, Met Council held its fourth annual Ladies’ Day Out event. We thank the 100 women who attended, helping us raise more than $70,000 in critical funds to support our Family Violence Services work.  Attendees had the opportunity to shop at a variety of boutiques including jewelry, clothing, body care products, and Judaica. In addition, they had a fun afternoon socializing, playing canasta and mah jongg, all for a good cause.

We want to also thank our amazing co-chairs, Sharon Steinberg and Susan Zilberman, as well as the entire event committee, for their incredible dedication and hard work to ensure such a successful event.

We are grateful to NYC Public Advocate Letitia James for joining us and speaking about her passion and commitment in helping those in abusive situations.
