Met Council is recognized internationally as a leader in addressing the needs of domestic violence victims by building bridges between justice systems and religious communities. Our Clinical Director of Social Services and Director of Family Violence Services, Shoshannah Frydman, presented to hundreds of advocates and clinicians on understanding the many criminal, civil, and religious systems that victims encounter. The conference on sexual abuse in the orthodox community was held in Jerusalem.
Shoshannah and the team of social workers at Met Council address victims immediate safety concerns and work towards self-sufficiency and healing.
