Met Council hosted The Constant Professional, a dynamic career counseling service, to teach volunteers how to create a strong and professional profile and enable them to share those methods with Met Council clients.
The Constant Professional workshop is one of over 180 career workshops that Met Council hosts each year. These workshops are designed to empower our clients to get and keep the jobs they want, allowing them to be self-sufficient. Finding stable employment is one of the ways Met Council assists clients reach economic independence.
The volunteers at the workshop are members of Met Council’s MVP group, which provides young professionals an opportunity to be socially and philanthropically engaged in the fight against poverty.
