Met Council’s young professionals group partnered with the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan to create Purim costumes for children and families affected by domestic violence. Volunteers joined together to make Queen Esther’s crown, Mordechai’s sword and Achashverosh’s scepter. The event allowed young professionals to celebrate a fun and festive Purim, while making a positive impact on our clients’ lives.
