Natalia Kudriytska, 90, was born in the Ukraine and has always dreamed of becoming an official US citizen. To make this dream a reality, Natalia came to the JCC of Kings Bay for help with her extensive immigration paperwork. She was walked through the process by Met Council Immigration Specialist Polina Lemberg.
Polina has more than a decade of experience in adjustment of status and citizenship and has helped to improve the quality of life for New York City’s Russian population. “Her grandson and I accompanied her to the interview and immigration ceremony,” said Polina. “It was an emotional day for her.”
Natalia, a Brooklyn resident, can now apply for Medicare and additional services that will allow her to become financially secure.
